Ask Cloud: Article 01 - 5 Question Essay
Dear Cloud,

Are you ever angry at the fact that Will only uses you for one part on his Web Site? Don't you think that since you star in the best Final Fantasy ever, you should be in more webcomics and stuff?

Sincerely,
Todd Rashell

Well Todd, I have thought about this a lot myself. But fanmail is something important to me. And if I weren't a "star" on Will's web site, than... would I be answering this 'fanmail'? And in the future, Will and A.J. plan to work out a small FF7 scene after moving to the new domain name, which is planned to be due in July, after Will and A.J. have their summer jobs. Plus, no one said Final Fantasy 7 was the best. Except you. So far. About half the voters at GameFAQS chose Final Fantasy VII, but the other Final Fantasys had well over a thousand votes each too, Final Fantasy VII is just favored over more of the population. Will is trying to 'blend' the FF series together, otherwise, this would be 'Ask Cecil', or 'Ask Edge'. Please, keep this in mind in the future.

Cloud:

Me and my friends just found this web site today(march 3rd)and we wanna know when sumthin exciting's gonna happen. We all like ff games and we're sure there's sumthin you can do to keep us busy. Or maybe sumthin you can make will do....
we're out, firefall

Hello, 'Firefall'. In 7 days, on the 10th, Will will have THIS email in the FIRST 'ask Cloud' article, and the first Final Fantasy II Webcomic, "How do I kill 'em again?" out. From that day on forward, every Saturday there will be a new "Ask Cloud" out, and three times a week, a Final Fantasy II or "Extra" webcomic out. So make sure you check back then.

Dear Bighair,

I am playing FF7, and am playing through it like the 18th time. Once again, I just passed Aeris' house, and... well.... got the Cover Materia. Usually I sell it, but this time, wanted to ask you if it had any value as 'Materia'? Please Email back, and if you don't, thankyou anyways for reading my message!

Okay. I almost did delete your message. Let's get some things straight. One: Don't call me big hair. I'll have an EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN. Two: I reply to ALL my emails, unless they break a rule. And finally, the answer to your question. 'Cover' is probably the best Materia in the game(besides Master Summon, Command, and Magic) because 1: If you have bulky HP, you save your healers, 2: Usually Bulky HP=Bulky Limit DMG, and 3:Take DMG=Limit Break go up faster. Your healer heals you, and doesnt have to heal itself, and your limit is up almost every turn so here's the process: LIMIT, HEAL, Knights of the Round. With this strategy, it is rare that you will have trouble with a battle UNLESS they can kill your 'bulk in one hit. So selling cover... just is a stupid decision.

Cloud,

Who designed your web site?

Your new friend:
Chris

I don't know. I don't have a web site.

mr strife,

i am having a hard time deciding on my favorite final fantasy game. i like the story and plot to final fantasy 8, but i love the graphics, characters and battle system in final fantasy 7. its drivin me crazy. plz write back

Okay. Relax. I know the answer to this. You have two favorites. Final Fantasy 8 brought new mysteries to the Final Fantasy Series: A unique, none-mp based magic system so high mp is not a requirement, "drawing", and the incredibly plotted Card Game. However, Final Fantasy VII was the first game to bring such incredible graphics to the small grey box.. er.. PSX. And I have to admit, with my shiny yellow hair and my big sword, I'm pretty incredible. Vincent's cool too, with that metal arm of his.

Well, that's it for this week. Make sure to E-Mail Me with your questions so I can put 'em up here next week! -Cloud
